Nova media updates iSync plug-ins for 10.4.9

Nova media has updated its iSync phone plug-ins to version 4. Free for users who have purchased the plug-ins within the last year, they cost €9.95 ($15.39).

Nova’s iSync plug-ins enable Apple’s iSync software to support additional phones, enabling your Mac to synchronize data from Address Book and iCal with phones that it otherwise couldn’t support, including models from BenQ Siemens, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson.

With the release of Mac OS X v10.4.9, Apple updated iSync to version 2.4, and this has broken compatibility with some plug-ins and manual changes, according to nova media. The version 4 release corrects that problem. What’s more, it also supports USB connections for mobile phones.

System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.4.7 or later and iSync 2.3 or later.
