Nisus Software on Thursday offered the public beta release of Nisus Writer Pro, a new member of the company’s line of word processors for Mac OS X. The final release of Nisus Writer Pro is expected later this Spring; pricing is to be announced.
Nisus Writer Pro features the same core technology that’s used in Nisus Writer Express, and adds capabilities like Table of Contents, Cross References, Bookmarks, Text wrap around images, widow and orphan control and line numbering. Find and Replace, glossaries and an upgraded Nisus Macro Language have also been included.
System requirements call for G3 or better (including Intel) and Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later (Mac OS X v10.4 recommended).
