Fastforward Software has released QuickSnap, a new utility for taking screenshots in Mac OS X. It costs $14.95.
Mac OS X has a built-in screenshot function and ships with a “Grab” utility that aids you as well. But QuickSnap provides additional functionality missing from that functionality, at a lower price than other screenshot utilities.
You can take screenshots of your screen, a selection, window or individual icons, name the shots, select the format, and their save location, time screenshots, customize your capture, set hot keys, access QuickSnap from your menu bar, take screenshots of movies playing in DVD Player and more.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.4 or later and a G3 or better (including Intel — it’s a Universal binary).
