Bare Bones Software has released a maintenance update to its popular text and HTML editor BBEdit. A free update for registered users, BBEdit costs $125 (crossgrades, upgrades and discounts are available).
BBEdit features capabilities for editing, searching and manipulating text, such as grep matching, search and replace across multiple files, syntax coloring for various source code languages, code folding, FTP and SFTP support and more.
Changes in this release include fixes to reported issues and several other minor enhancements and refinements. A complete list of what’s changed is available online.
BBEdit requires Mac OS X v10.4 or later. It’s a Universal binary.
