Shoo Apps hides inactive applications

Pariahware on Tuesday released Shoo Apps 1.0, a Mac OS X utility that hides inactive applications to help keep your workspace uncluttered. It costs $15 to register; a seven-day trial version is available.

Shoo Apps lets you set a time interval to hide all non-active applications. But if there are specific applications you want to hide at particular times — or not at all — you can configure the software accordingly.

Shoo Apps is a Universal binary.
