ComChart, MacPractice EMR systems integrate

ComChart Medical Software and MacPractice on Monda announced the introduction of an interface between the two Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. It costs $500 plus $200 for an annual support and update fee.

ComChart, an EMR product in development since 1991, now features a new capability in its v9.2.z7 release. MacPractice now has an “EMR” icon that, when clicked, will transport to user to the patient’s chart in ComChart.

The capability requires the 9.2z7 release, which is a free update for ComChart users, and the purchase of the MacPractice EMR interface ability. That new ability is free for new buyers of MacPractice until June 15, 2007.
