Mondo Systems on Monday introduced its Mint Digital Music Station, a $349 stereo system designed for digital music sources including the iPod. It’s coming in June.
The Mint includes its own 70 watt amplifier, two wood construction bookshelf speakers with removable front grilles, each equipped with a neodymium tweeter and aluminum cone woofer, a wireless remote control, and a wireless dock designed to remotely stream music to the system up to 100 feet away. It can connect to an iPod using the dock, sports a USB connection, and also has a line in connection.
The wireless dock lets you prop your iPod inside and control volume, stream music and manage playlists up to 100 feet away from the speakers. The system is portable, and the speakers can be wall mounted if you want.
