Apple on Thursday noted that it will allow each customer visiting its retail stores the opportunity to buy up to two iPhones.
The company will close its 164 retail stores in the United States from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM to prepare for the iPhone’s launch, then will re-open at 6:00 PM. All U.S. stores will stay open on Friday until midnight, Apple said.
And starting on Saturday morning, Apple retail stores will also feature free workshops throughout the day to help new iPhone customers learn how to use their phones. The iPhone will also be supported at the Genius Bar and through Apple’s subscription-based “One to One” training program.
