Zevrix Solutions has released BatchOutput 2.5, an update to its PDF and PostScript printing and export software for Adobe InDesign. It costs $79.95.
BatchOutput helps prepress users and others automate output of InDesign documents to printer, PDF and PostScript, You can use output presets and create custom settings, output multipage documents and single pages, change job names in the printer queue, surpress font and links warnings, and hide document windows while processing them for output.
New features in version 2.5 include tighter integration with InDesign CS3. BatchOutput can also be controlled as a separate application, even though it’s an InDesign plug-in. You can now launch BatchOutput directly from within the InDesign CS3 menus. You also now have an option to save files after output, preserving output settings, and can add files from the Finder using drag-and-drop.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.4.2 or higher and InDesign CS, CS2 and CS3. BatchOutput 2.5 is a Universal binary.
