Microsoft has released Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac 11.3.7 Update. It’s available for download from Microsoft’s Web site, and measure 8.6MB.
The update, like several before it, “fixes a vulnerability that an attacker can use to overwrite the contents of your computer’s memory with malicious code,” according to Microsoft. Technical notes posted by Microsoft clarify that the patch corrects vulnerabilities in OLE automation and Excel that could cause in remote code execution.
Microsoft advises that users should have the 11.3.6 update installed prior to installing this one. This update is also available from Microsoft’s AutoUpdate utility.
