iToner puts custom ringtones on iPhone

Ambrosia Software on Friday introduced iToner 1.0.0, a new utility for Mac OS X that enables iPhone users to create and install custom ringtones. It costs $15.

With iToner, you simply drag and drop audio files onto the interface and click the Sync button. iToner then installs the custom ringtones on your iPhone. The interface of the application itself resembles the iPhone, to make it easy for you to understand what to do.

The software works without modifying or hacking your iPhone, according to Ambrosia, so your custom ringtones will continue to work with future iPhone OS updates.

iToner is a Universal binary. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.4.10 or later.
