Techshells get rubberized

Techshell has introduced rubberized color versions of its eponymous coverings for MacBooks, MacBook Pros and PowerBook laptops. They cost $59.95 - $79.95 depending on size.

The Techshell is manufactured from Dura-flex, a transparent material that is the same as what’s used to make bullet-proof glass, according to the manufacturer. They’re designed to protect the bottom and top of the Mac laptop from getting scratched, stained or dinged through normal use. Techshells feature cut-outs that provide you with access to all of the laptop’s expansion ports.

The new “rubberized” versions of the Techshell apply a special rubberized paint over the solid Duraflex core, and are available in Fire Red, Hot Pink and Navy Blue colors.
