EarthDesk updated for Leopard

Xeric Design has updated its dynamic desktop map software, EarthDesk, to version 4.1. EarthDesk costs $23.95.

EarthDesk replaces your desktop image with a dynamically created map of the Earth, showing you the current sun and moon position, and city illumination, along with real-time global cloud coverage.

New in version 4.1 is Mac OS X v10.5 “Leopard” support, the addition of a “Natural” map option, which shows you an unretouched satellite view of the Earth, some interface changes to provide better control of EarthDesk, and several minor bug fixes.

EarthDesk requires Mac OS X v10.4 or later. A demo is available for download.
