Mustek has announced plans to introduce its PF-i700 digital photo frame at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada in early January, a week before Macworld Expo. The device is expected to ship in March for $129.99.
The PF-i700 sports a seven-inch color LCD display that lets you view photos, videos, TV shows and movies stored on the iPod. You can also used the device to listen to music on the iPod. The display sports 480 x 234 resolution and is set in a widescreen resolution.
The panel is mounted in a black bezel, and it operates (and can be set) in either portrait or landscape orientations. Its stand can be removed if you'd prefer to mount it on your wall.
The PF-i700 also sports a headphone jack, and a card reader to import images from SD, xD-Picture, MMC, MemoryStick and MemoryStick Pro flash media formats. A USB 2.0 port can accommodate thumb drives or connect the device to a host computer.
Mustek's Web site had not been updated with information about the PF-i700 as Macworld posted this article.
