You Software has released You Control 1.6, an update to its custom menu software. It's a free update for registered users and costs $29.95.
You Control lets you create meus in various locations like the Menu Bar, any corner of your screen or in pop-up locations where they're easily accessible to the task on hand. You can specify what the menus contain; you can control iTunes with them, for example, or access your Address Book contact list, iCal events, news, stocks, weather, or any file or folder on your Mac.
You Control has been updated to work with Mac OS X v10.5 "Leopard." It also works with Tiger. A 15-day demo version is available for download.
