Cover Stream iTunes utility adds mini-flow mode

Snarb.tk has released Cover Stream 1.2, an update to their iTunes utility for your Mac's desktop. The software is a free update for registered users; Cover Stream costs $14.95.

Cover Stream enables you to navigate iTunes from your desktop using the "Cover Flow" feature -- manipulating graphical representations of album covers instead of navigating through playlists or text-heavy track or artist listings.

New to the 1.2 release is a "Mini Flow" mode, which lets you double click on an album to start playing it immediately, without first having to pick a track. A new status window has been added, complete with jewel case artwork, volume indicator and colored text. Snarb.tk has fixed bugs, including some potential crashes, and has corrected an issue with album titles that have diacritical characters in them.

Cover Stream requires Mac OS X v10.5 or later.
