Boris ships Final Effects Complete 5 for AE

Boris FX on Tuesday announced that it has released Final Effects Complete 5.0 for AE. It costs $895. Upgrades from previous releases cost $299.

Final Effects Complete for AE is a collection of filters and transitions for use with Adobe After Effects. Included are filters for blur, color correction, distortion, edges, image manipulation, light, particle, perspective, stylization and transitions. More than 250 native plug-ins are included.

This major upgrade marks the first significant change to the package since Boris FX acquired it three years ago. It's added new features including PixelChooser, Motion Tracker, Preset Loader and Online Documentation -- all features found in Boris FX's Continuum Complete. A new user interface has been incorporated, along with 16-bit rendering, multiprocessor and multi-core acceleration, enhancements to existing filters, 800 pre-saved presets, and support for Intel-based Macs.
