Apple has released an update to Final Cut Server, and another to its suite of Pro Applications. Both updates are available for download from Apple’s Web site.
Final Cut Server is Apple’s media asset management and workflow automation software for video professionals working with Final Cut Pro. The 1.1 update fixes a problem with the check-in/check-out process for Final Cut Pro projects, fixes problems with double-byte character sets and improves general reliability, according to Apple.
The Pro Applications Update 2008-02 release improves reliability for Apple’s pro applications, including Final Cut Studio, Final Cut Server and Logic Studio. The update “addresses installation issues, compatibility updates, and general performance issues and improves overall stability,” according to Apple. Application updates included with the release are Final Cut Pro 6.0.4 and Compressor 3.0.3.
