Expo Special: Music & technology
These days, a lot of making music comes down to mastering the Mac, and all the audio tools available to the platform. I’ve learned this first-hand as part of my ongoing project to record a music album with the help of Mac tools.
Another person who understands the role technology plays in music creation is Tony Marvuglio, the assistant vice president for academic technology for the Berklee College of Music. Like me, he’s participating in the conference portion of Macworld Expo, and so I invited him on this special edition of the Macworld Podcast.
We talk about how technology is changing the way Berklee teaches students and why the school uses Macs.
