Apple on Monday released Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update 2.5, an update to the software that controls the system and Apple application’s support of digital camera’s “raw” file formats. The software is available for download from Apple’s Web site.
The updated software adds support for two new cameras: Nikon’s D3X and Epson’s R-D1x. It also “addresses issues related to specific cameras and overall stability,” according to Apple.
Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update 2.5 was developed for use with Aperture 2, iPhoto ‘08, and iPhoto ‘09.
System requirements call for Mac OS X 10.4.11 or Mac OS X 10.5.3 or later.
