SlickEdit 2009 debugs Perl, Python, PHP

SlickEdit has announced the release of SlickEdit 2009, a new version of their multi-platform code editor. SlickEdit 2009 costs $300.

SlickEdit is a multi-language code editor that lets programmers work in over 40 languages on seven platforms. Features include context tagging, syntax expansion, completions and code templates; alias support; the ability to display symbol details with List Members; record macros to perform common or repetitive tasks; and more.

Changes in the 2009 edition include Perl, Python and PHP debugger support, system verilog language support, Vera language support, symbol coloring, code diff, relocatable bookmarks and break points, D language support, export and import options, a Quick Start configuration wizard and smart open.

System requirements call for Mac OS X 10.4 and later with X11 installed, and 240MB hard disk space.
