Suitcase Fusion 2 now supports Tiger

Extensis has announced the release of Suitcase Fusion 2 13.1, an update to its single-user professional font management product for Mac OS X. A free update for registered users, Suitcase Fusion 2 costs $100.

Suitcase Fusion 2 helps to eliminate font problems and conflicts. It provides a method for previewing type interactively, and offers auto-activation features, support for Adobe Creative Suite 3 and 4, QuarkXPress 7 and 8, and printable font previews.

The 13.1 update provides support for Mac OS X 10.4 “Tiger.”

The update was made, in part, in recognition of the tough economic circumstances many of Extensis’ customers are facing at present, according to a statement from Brian Berson, Extensis general manager. “By adding Tiger compatibility, users can benefit from the outstanding previews and performance of Suitcase Fusion 2 without upgrading their Mac OS,” he said.

System requirements now call for Mac OS X 10.4.11 or later.
