'America at Home' comes to the iPhone

Envision has released a new application for the iPhone based on the book, "America at Home."

The application, which has the same name, features a two-page layout with essays, captions, and the photos built right into the book. This ensures the images open quickly, instead of fetching them from the Internet.

Envision said the iPhone version of America at Home has the same chapter and page layout as the book, including cover, sleeve and introductory text. If you buy America at Home for the iPhone, you also get 25 percent off the price of the book.

The book was done by Rick Smolan to capture "Americans in the most important place in their lives: their home."

America at Home for the iPhone costs 99 cents and is available from the App Store.
