Apple released iPhoto 8.1.2 on Tuesday, a minor update for iPhoto '09 users. The 13.6 MB download is mostly a bug fix, with some iPad syncing compatibility thrown in. The update remedies two import issues, including one that occasionally caused iPhoto to quit while connecting to an iPhone 3G. It also resolves a syncing issue that affected iPhoto slideshows with an ampersand in the file name.
Like the recent Aperture update, iPhoto 8.1.2 also adds iPad compatibly, allowing you to sync images in your iPhoto library with your iPad and import images on your iPad into iPhoto. The update is recommended for all iPhoto '09 users. More information can be found in Apple's support article here.
