Apple to release second quarter results on April 20

Even though we’re about to go into full-on iPhone event coverage, it doesn’t mean we can’t remind you of upcoming Apple events. For those of you who like nothing more than poring over financial information, you’ll soon get your chance once again: Apple is holding its quarterly financial conference call for the second quarter of 2010 on April 20, 2010 at 2 p.m. Pacific, 5 p.m. Eastern.

We expect to hear from the usual suspects, Apple COO Tim Cook and CFO Peter Oppenheimer, as they discuss all things related to revenue, profit, and gross margins, and come up with as many different ways as they can to say “No comment.” I imagine we’ll also get a further taste of iPad sales numbers beyond what we heard for opening day.

As usual, Macworld will provide live coverage of the conference call, so please join us here to follow along in gory detail.
