Adobe has fixed a number of bugs found in the first iPad compatible release of Photoshop Express.

By Adobe’s own admission, the app—formally known as Photoshop Mobile—contained a serious bug that caused Photoshop Express to crash when opened in landscape mode.

“We have received reports of some users having difficulty launching the application on an iPad in landscape orientation with certain productivity and printing applications installed,” Adobe noted last week.

The app, which offers users a chance to edit and share photos without ever over writing the original, now comes iPad friendly with a new redesigned interface.

John Nack, Principal Product Manager, Adobe Photoshop, adds on his blog: “The bugs are now fixed; sorry that they got past the team initially. (Thanks, Apple, for pushing out the update quickly.)”

“Plenty of cool additional enhancements are in the works, and your feedback is more than welcome.”

Available from the App Store, the Adobe Photoshop Express 1.3.1 update is free and requires the iPhone 3.0 Software Update or later.
