RuneScape makers Jagex Games Studio launched a free role-playing game for iPhone and iPod touch.

The app, Undercroft, is described as a retro RPG featuring five character classes (Warrior, Mage, Priest, Summoner and Assassin), more 750 items, 60 different enemies types, dozens of quests and side-quests, and turn-based combat. Jagex claims that the game contains around 20 hours of gameplay.

Further details on the new app are available at www.undercroft.com.

Jagex developed the successful free-to-play MMO RuneScape. According to its developers, the game is the largest free-to-play game in the world. The game launched in India earlier this year.
