Hand Candy Cases’ $35 Bubble Slider iPhone 4 case is a two-piece, polycarbonate hardshell case available in four "soft-touch exterior textures"—red, pink, blue, or black—or in “pearl-escent finish” white. The case fits snugly, protecting the iPhone's side and back completely, while the front of the phone is left exposed (although, as with many iPhone 4 hardshells, the sides of the case extend past the screen a bit to form a lip—this lip helps protects the screen from scratching if you set the phone face-down on a flat surface).

The Bubble Slider offers access to all ports and buttons, but I had a bit of difficulty operating the volume buttons and Ring/Silent switch thanks to the case's narrow openings. Also, thicker dock connector cables may not connect properly with the case on, although most headphones should work fine. The case feels comfortable in your hand, and its dimpled surface gives it a distinct “golf ball” look—this is especially true of the white model. In general, the Bubble Slider offers good protection for a slider-type case without adding significant bulk.
