The cover features a small, unassuming bungee chord that can be wrapped around a ridge on the back shell, keeping the folio securely closed or open. This same ridge is used when setting the iPad into an adjustable landscape-orientation mode. The micro-suede interior of the case has four grooves that keep the iPad in place even during moderate jostling.

The case completely covers all sides, edges, and corners of the iPad, leaving openings only for the buttons, ports, cameras, and speaker.
