Logitech's Cube mouse is tiny and capable

Editor’s Note: The following article is reprinted from PCWorld.com.

Logitech at CES Showstoppers demonstrated the Cube, one of its newest mice. The tiny rectangular mouse is about 2 inches long and an inch wide, and besides being super small, it becomes a PowerPoint presenter the second you pick it up—no flipping through modes.

If you make a lot of presentations on the go, or travel frequently, Logitech's Cube could be a good alternative to packing larger mice, or struggling with a laptop trackpad.

In the demo, the mouse rolled smoothly, and instead of having two click buttons next to each other, or a single-click mouse, Logitech keeps the smooth design by making a touch to the top of the cube a left click and a touch in the middle of the cube a right click. Pulling your finger down the center of the cube scrolls.

When you pick it up, a click on the top of the cube takes you forward through PowerPoint, and when you turn the mouse over and click it takes you backward through the presentation.

The USB chargeable mouse has an on-off switch and comes with a receiver that plugs into USB. It costs $70.
