GarageBand 4.1.1 fixes export for iPhone feature

by Jim Dalrymple, Macworld.com

An update released for Apple’s consumer-level music creation application, GarageBand, fixes an issue that will help users that wanted to export songs to the iPhone.

Apple says everything should work normally when you create a song in GarageBand and then choose “Send Ringtone to iTunes” from the Share menu. GarageBand 4.1.1 also improves overall stability, the company said.

GarageBand 4.1.1 can be downloaded from Apple’s Web site or from the software update mechanism in Mac OS X.
