Macware on Thursday announced the release of Logo Design Studio Pro, a vector-based logo design application for Mac OS X. It costs $59.99 and will be available in January, 2008.
The software features more than 500 pre-designed logo templates, along with more than 1300 pre-designed logo objects. Because it's vector-based, the software features Bezier curve-based editing tools, so you can adjust the look of shapes, text and cures. It also features Boolean operations that let you add and subtract shapes and text together.
Utilizing Mac OS X's Core Image technology, Logo Design Studio Pro supports more than 100 filters to tweak the image designs. You can add text as an outline of any line or shape, use alignment tools and more.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.4 or later, 256MB RAM and 550MB hard disk space.
