iWeb 2.0.3 'addresses compatibility with Mac OS X'

by Peter Cohen, Macworld.com

Apple on Wednesday released an update for iWeb, version 2.0.3. It's available for download through Apple's Web site and through the Software Update system preference.

The 17.2MB update is simply described as "[addressing] compatibility with Mac OS X." No other information was made available.

iWeb 2.0 is one component of Apple's iLife '08 software suite, included with new Macs and also available for purchase for older ones. The software includes new versions of iPhoto, GarageBand, iMovie and iDVD.

iWeb enables users to create Web sites using built-in templates, populating the sites with photos, video and other media on the Mac. It's designed to integrate especially with Apple's .Mac online service, offering personal domain name support and other special features.
