Apple updates MacBook Air wireless note

Apple posted an article on its Web site yesterday alerting users to a potential problem with some out of date base stations. Shortly after the story posted , the knowledge base article was pulled from Apple’s servers — today the company has updated and reposted the note.

According to Apple, if you are using a non-Apple 802.11n wireless router that has out of date firmware, you may experience problems with Remote Disc, Migration or Remote Install in the MacBook Air.

If you have any problems, Apple recommends updating the firmware in your router.

Two other knowledge base articles were also removed from Apple’s servers — those articles have not been reposted.
