1Password adds Mac OS X v10.5.2 support

by Peter Cohen, Macworld.com

Agile Web Solutions has released 1Password v2.5.11, a new version of its password management software for Mac OS X. The new release is a free update for current users; it costs $29.95.

1Password helps Mac users keep all of their passwords -- for applications, Web sites and more -- in one place. The software features integrated anti-phishing technology, an automatic form filler with support for credit cards and multiple identities, and a secure database that tracks Web site logins, offers a secure repository for notes, credit cards, bank accounts and software registrations.

The new 2.5.11 release supports Safari in Mac OS X v10.5.2. It also supports the latest Firefox nightly builds, improves support for iPhone logins, improves credit card fill rules and adds support for a user assignable restore form shortcut key in Firefox.

System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.4 or later.
