NLU Products has announced the release of BodyGuardz clear film covers for the MacBook Air. A BodyGuardz protection kit costs $49.95.
BodyGuard protectors are made of clear film that cover the body of the MacBook Air, cut specifically to fit the new Apple laptop. The material protects the MacBook Air from being scratched or defaced, and is made from the same stuff that protects the fronts of automobiles from stones and abrasive objects, according to NLU.
The protectors are optically clear and are easy to apply. The kit comes with a squeegee card and application instructions. The film adheres using a water-based adhesive.
The kit includes top, bottom, wrist rest and track pad protectors.
