TalkShoe, a community chat service that brings together live phone callers and online chatters, has been optimized for the iPhone.
TalkShoe hosts live interactive discussions via a Web-based interface. Designed for talk shows, podcasts or corporate events, the service lets users join via a phone or computer, where they can, listen or chat depending on how the host sets up the event. Users can participate via Skype or Voice over IP (VoIP) services as well. The call itself can be recorded automatically as a podcast and listed afterwards.
The iPhone-optimized TalkShoe Web interface enables users to participate in community calls; registered TalkShoe users can also use their iPhones to conduct and manage community calls. The iPhone interface offers a one-click link to automatically dial in and participate in a call, where up to 250 people can talk together.
