iSoniCast wireless audio bridge for iPod debuts

Monster has introduced the iSoniCast, a wireless audio bridge that connects Apple iPods to a home stereo. It costs $99.95.

The iSoniCast is a two piece wireless audio bridge. The base connects to your home stereo equipment using an included cable. It connects to the iPod using an included a battery-free transmitter that plugs into the iPod's dock connector.

The two pieces communicate using 2.4GHz wireless technology that streams audio at 4Gbps, helping to eliminate audio artifacts, according to Monster.
