WireTap Studio update fixes bugs

by Peter Cohen, Macworld.com

Ambrosia Software on Tuesday announced the release of WireTap Studio 1.0.6, an update to their audio editing and recording software for Mac OS X. It’s a free update for registered user, and costs $69 to register.

WireTap Studio lets you record audio from your Mac, either using a microphone, line-in jack or from the audio output of any application. You can edit your audio without making any changes to the original source material, applying different filters and effects and undoing them without risking damaging the original content.

The 1.0.6 release fixes fade-ins, fixes a crash when loading a waveform that was previously partially loaded, fixes problems with some effects and mono output formats, and makes other fixes and enhancements.

System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.4 or later.
