Apple posts Canon Print Driver update

Apple has released Canon Print Driver 1.1, an updated driver for Canon-branded printers operating on Mac OS X v10.5.3 or later. The update is available for download from Apple's Web site.

The software is also available for download through the Software Update system preference, but will only be visible if you have version 1.0 installed and a Canon printer is connected to your computer or a queue has been created.

This package—measuring 267MB—is a complete installation of all Canon printer drivers and is much larger than choosing Software Update, according to Apple.
