Frommer travel guides come to iPhone, iPod touch

Modality on Monday announced that it has begun releasing Frommer’s Travel Guides for the iPhone and iPod touch. They each cost $9.99.

The 2008 editions of Frommer’s New York, San Francisco, London and Paris guides are now available for purchase and download. Additional guides are anticipated for release later in 2008.

The guides include local travel tips, restaurant and hotel reviews, location-based services, interactive maps, and Web and phone links.
