New Apple stores opening in Maine, New Jersey, Ohio

It’s a big week for Apple’s retail stores: Apple on Thursday announced plans to open three new stores this weekend on Saturday, September 13, 2008. New retail stores are coming to New Jersey, Ohio and, for the first time, Maine.

Apple Store Crocker Park opens in Westlake, Ohio at 10:00 AM. The store is located in the Crocker Park Lifestyle Center, next to American Eagle and Guess. Crocker Park will be Apple’s fourth Ohio location, joining Cincinnati, Columbus and Lyndhurst locations.

Apple Store Willowbrook opens in Wayne, NJ at 10:00 AM also. The store is located at the Willowbrook Mall, on the lower level near Macy’s. Willowbrook is Apple’s 10th New Jersey location, joining stores in Rockaway, Atlantic City, Paramus, Woodcliff Lake and elsewhere.

Apple Store Maine Mall opens, not surprisingly, at the Maine Mall in South Portland at 9:30 AM on Saturday. It’s located next to The Loft and Victoria’s Secret. Not surprisingly, the Maine store is located an hour and a half’s drive away from Apple’s store at the Rockingham Park mall in Salem, N.H., where there is no sales tax.
