Myvu video goggles work with iPhone

Myvu has announced that its Crystal video goggles now work with the iPhone. The Crystal glasses require a new cable which costs $24.95.

Myvu Crystal video eyewear is designed to let you watch video from an iPod, portable DVD player or portable media player in privacy. The device, which costs $299.95, features 640 x 480 pixel resolution, solid optics, earbuds designed by Ultimate Ears, and a rechargeable battery that lasts for up to four hours of continuous play.

The new $24.95 cable has been iPhone-compatible, certified by Apple as part of its “Works with iPhone” program. Myvu claims that the Crystal is the first video eyewear product to receive the “Works with iPhone” certification.

Myvu Crystal is available in either black or amber.
