Apple mailing promotes Black Friday deals

Apple’s marketing push for Black Friday, the traditional start of the holiday shopping season, is spearheaded by an e-mail message offering special offers and extended hours for one day only.

The mailer links to a special page on Apple’s online store featuring Black Friday sales, including $101 off iMac models and MacBook Pros, and $30 off for iWork. The company also is offering “fast, free shipping” for all orders over $50. The offers are valid through 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time.

In addition, the mailer links to Apple’s retail store finder, encouraging customers to visit an Apple retail store.
