Now wear this: Computers for your wrist and face
Computers are already on our desks, on our laps, and in our pockets, so why not on our wrists or faces? With the burgeoning trend of wearable computing, they might be—and sooner than you think.
Senior writer Lex Friedman joins me to discuss our experiences with smartwatches like the Pebble and the MetaWatch, as well as the upcoming Google Glass. And, of course, we talk about the prospects of Apple throwing its (smart?) hat in the ring.
Our commander-in-chief Jason Snell has already penned a review of the Pebble smartwatch.
As mentioned on the show, senior contributor John Moltz has suggested that we shouldn't dismiss Google Glass while praising the mythical iWatch.
Lex has also written about the case for smartwatches.
And, if you're interested in the evolution of the smartwatch as a gadget, we've got a slideshow for you.
