Apple changes storage options in iPad, reduces prices for iPad Pro

The iPads now include more storage space at a lower price.

While most of the attention was paid to the iPhone 7 and new Apple Watches, the company made revisions to the iPad lineup, including the iPad Pro.

As with the iPhone 7, 16GB models of the iPad are now history. With the iPad Pro, Apple lowered the prices on the models with more storage. The new prices and storage configurations are listed below.

12.9-inch iPad Pro

Wi-Fi only

  • $799 for 32GB (no change)
  • $899 for 128GB ($50 price reduction)
  • $999 for 256GB ($100 price reduction)

Wi-Fi and Cellular

  • $1,029 for 128GB ($50 price reduction)
  • $1,129 for 256GB ($100 price reduction)

9.7-inch iPad Pro

Wi-Fi only

  • $599 for 32GB (no change)
  • $699 for 128GB ($50 price reduction)
  • $799 for 256GB ($100 price reduction)

Wi-Fi and Cellular

  • $729 for 32GB (no change)
  • $829 for 128GB ($50 price reduction)
  • $929 for 256GB ($100 price reduction)

iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 4

Wi-Fi only

  • $399 with 32GB
  • $499 with 128GB

Wi-Fi and Cellular

  • $529 with 32GB
  • $629 with $128GB

These models replace the 16GB and 64GB versions that were previously offered.

iPad mini 2

Wi-Fi only

  • $269 with 32GB

Wi-Fi and Cellular

  • $399 with 32GB

Apple previously offered the iPad mini 2 with 16GB of storage that had the same prices as the current 32GB version listed above.
