ProBe point-of-sale software adds Panther support

ProBe Software has announced that their ProBe point-of-sale application now supports Mac OS X v10.3 "Panther." The application allows you to turn your Mac into a cash register and use the information gathered to update inventory numbers, complete with reporting that breaks down all activity per day. In addition, it can read barcodes, create and track customer accounts, and interface with AuthPayX Concord Client software for credit card verification. Pricing starts at US$1,295 for a single user or $1,595 for the first user in a multi-terminal license, with additional users at $795 each.
