NewTek intros LightWave 3D [8] Training Edition

NewTek Inc. has announced the release of LightWave 3D [8] Training Edition, an expanded version of the 3D animation software that includes coupons for training materials worth over US$400 and consisting of six books, four videos and the DVD release of Kaze: Ghost Warrior, an independent CGI film with extensive extras about its creation. The books available by redeeming the coupons include Inside LightWave 3D [8], LightWave 3D [8] Killer Tips, LightWave 3D [8] 1001 Tips & Tricks, LightWave 3D [8] Texturing, LightWave [8] Lighting and CGI Filmmaking: The Creation of Ghost Warrior. The videos include Digital Car Series, Vehicle Modeling - Volume 1, Digital Car Series, Vehicle Modeling - Volume 2, LightWave 3D [8] - Bone Tools and LightWave 3D [8] IK Booster. The package sells for $1,595, with upgrades from LightWave [7.5] available for $495.
