Concord unveils new EasyShot digital cameras
Concord Camera Corp. on Thursday got a head start on next week's PMA 2005 show by unveiling its new line of EasyShot digital cameras. The Mac and PC-compatible digital cameras are designed to be family-friendly, according to the company.
Each of them offers one-touch image enhancement to correct poor color and lighting situations. The new cameras also feature 2.4-inch and 2.5-inch color LCD displays. Direct printing capability is also supported. In addition to digital still images, all the new cameras can also record MPEG-4 video at up to 30 frames per second.
The EasyShot 510z is a 5-megapixel camera that features 3x optical zoom, a 2.5-inch display and rechargeable lithium batteries. and has 16MB of internal memory. It will be available in gun metal gray and aqua blue housings when it debuts this October for US$229.
The EasyShot 500z is a 5-megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom and a voice recording feature that allows you to record voice notes for still images. The camera is equipped with a 2-inch LCD screen. The 500z features six preset scene capture modes. Look for it in April for $179.
The EasyShot 820z rounds out the new line. Due out in the fourth calendar quarter of 2005, the camera will sport an 8-megapixel sensor and will cost US$249. Other features include 3x optical zoom and 2.4-inch LCD display and 16MB of internal memory.
