AudioBuddy iPod cable retracts

UK-based iPod accessory maker PodGear on Tuesday introduced the AudioBuddy, a retractable audio link cable for Apple’s iPod. On one end is a Dock Connector that plugs into any third or fourth-generation iPod, iPod mini or iPod photo, and on the other end lies a 3.5mm mini-jack. Also included is a mini jack-to-RCA adapter that lets the cable plug in to a home entertainment system or any other device with line-level input. The cable retracts at the touch of a button, but can extend as long as 70 cm (a little more than 2 feet). It costs £14.99 plus VAT (about US$28.57).
